About Me
I am Emad Salehi, an artist.Between 2000 and 2009, I served as the artistic director of "Alebda Ol Hadith" in Dubai and founded the "Women's House of Cartoon Emirates" in Dubai. I was also a member of the organizing committee for the 2nd International Dubai Cartoon Contest in 2002.
Throughout my career, I have organized over 32 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 200 group exhibitions both domestically and internationally. My accolades include a Special Prize at the International Contest Zianxing in China (2015) and First Prize at the Luiz Oliveira Guimares contest in Portugal (2016).
In December 2022, I achieved a Guinness World Record for creating the largest painting on canvas, titled "The Story of a Ball." Measuring 9,652 square meters—the size of a football field—the artwork was unveiled at Qatar University. The painting narrates the history of the FIFA World Cup from its inception in 1930 up to the 2022 tournament, integrating cultural, historical, and sporting elements.
My work is celebrated for its depth and ability to intertwine cultural narratives with artistic expression, and I am honored to be recognized as a prominent figure in the art world.
